Let's Get Acquainted - Welcome to the Blog

I grew up going to the Buddhist temple across the street from my grandparents house growing up as a kid and spent one 10 year old summer with a shaved head, shaved eyebrows, and nothing to my name but a brown robe. 

I was diagnosed with a deadly disease that was eating away at my C5 vertebrate affecting only 2 out a every 1 million kids at the prime age of 12. I went through months of Chemotherapy and radiation and made it out alive to count my blessings every day.  

I like to do hard things, the seemingly impossible. I completed the 2022 Ironman Alaska swimming 2.4 miles, biking 112 miles, and finishing with a 26.2 mile run. I did it along side 3 of my best buds who also enjoy carrying the boat. :) 

I grew up playing rec and club soccer and a little bit of high school, but was never good enough to start on our Varsity team. I have since continued to play weekly indoor soccer every Monday and outdoor soccer during the summer time !

I am a Mechanical Engineer by trade but talked myself into a technical sales role combining both my left and right side of my brain to channel my inner Leonardo da Vinci. 

Culture and perspective is cool. I have traveled all around the USA and have visited multiple countries in the Americas, Asia, and Europe. I am hoping to see Santa at the North Pole and box a Kangaroo if Peta approves. 

I am the oldest of 8 total siblings and do my darndest to lead by example. 

It just scratches that inner itch and still gives me goosebumps from time to time. It's mostly hip hop, rap, edm, house, country, and indie folk. 

I like to do and learn, and ultimately experience first hand. Say nay to the nay-sayers and find out myself. Here's a short, diverse list to give you an idea: oil paint, fly fish, golf, volleyball, motorcycle, free style rap to a song that I pray will never see the light of day, game, read, blog, and occasionally drink too much.
